The future of sociology: The Australian Sociological Association annual conference, Canberra

The 2009 TASA Conference will examine the future of Sociology with a particular focus on three areas:

1 The views of PhD students and early career researchers given that the future of sociology will be largely in their hands.
2 The relationship between sociology and cognate disciplines, specifically economics, biology and psychology.
3 The role that sociology can play in policy-making.
